Distance Education Library Services: Books

The Distance Education Department at the ECSU Libraries coordinates library services to those students and faculty who are unable to visit the library regularly.

If you are a distance education student, the G.R. Little Library can mail any item the collection to you at no cost. Please send your contact information and the title of the item you are requesting to Access Services Librarian Cynthia Wise at: crhorne@ecsu.edu. Please check the library catalog first to ensure that the item you are requesting is in our physical collection.

For Book Request

Please search the Library catalog before placing a book request. Remember, your requested item could take up to two weeks for delivery. You will be notified when the item arrives or if we are unable to find a lender.

For Article Request

Please search Journal Finder before placing an article request. Remember, it may take up to 5 to 10 days for delivery. Depending upon delivery format, articles are sent via email, through campus mail or may be picked up from the library. Please call if you have questions (252-335-8513).
