National Native American Heritage Month celebrates the culture, contributions, and heritage of Native Americans.

This guide is a work in progress and we will be happy to get your valuable feedback on it. It consists of selected G.R. Little library resources. If some of the links are not working please get in touch with the librarian who created this guide so that the links can be fixed.

The month of November allows us to spread awareness about tribes or to educate people about the various challenges faced by Native Americans in the past and today. Please watch out for additional activities by the library such as the poetry reading events for the purpose of celebrating this month.
